The Doctor Who 50th anniversary will be in 3D and movie theaters, too

Urgh.

The Doctor Who 50th anniversary will be in 3D and movie theaters, too:
The Doctor Who 50th anniversary will be in 3D and movie theaters, too Whovians may be grumbling that the 50th anniversay of the longest-running scifi show in the world is only getting a 60-minute special to mark the occasion, but at least it just got upgraded. The BBC announced that the as-yet-untitled Doctor Who special will be broadcast in 3D, as well as played in movie theaters for those who don't have 3D televisions. Said showrunner Steven Moffat:
"It's about time. Technology has finally caught up with Doctor Who and your television is now bigger on the inside. A whole new dimension of adventure for the Doctor to explore."
I, personally, would rather the Beeb have spent this money on a Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Part 2, but oh well. I guess Who fans are getting more times and dimensions (relatively) to see the special, so I suppose that's something.
